More than 120 major development projects are under review or construction.
From a new movie theater, a signature downtown, apartments and a trailblazing school for entrepreneurs, development appears to dominate pockets of the city.
Development continues around Florida State University campus as student apartments, restaurants and retail mushroom on and around Gaines Street.
Not so much for Midtown, with the exception of small housing clusters. And, according to records with the Tallahassee-Leon County Office of Economic Vitality, little development appears to be taking place in southwest Tallahassee.
